The Sovereign Hotel is one of the Best Budget Hotels with modern amenities & guest facilities in the Old Salata area of Doha, being only a 15 minute drive from Hamad International Airport. We are situated within walking distance (or short taxi ride in the hot summer months) of the popular Corniche area, the famous Souq Waqif and many other attractions.
In 2018 we finished renovating and refurbishing our guest accommodation, with the result being lighter, brighter rooms for our guests to have a more comfortable and relaxed stay with us.
All our rooms have air conditioning, free WiFi or LAN, Flat screen TV and kettle, a small fridge and complimentary toiletries in addition to ironing facilities, and for long stay guests, a toaster and microwave on request.
We do not have our own restaurant, but we do have a delightful Indian restaurant attached to the hotel, and a variety of chain restaurants and ethnic restaurants all within 5 minutes walk, most of whom will deliver to your room if you do not want to venture out.
